AUTUMN / WINTER TRANSFORMER COLLECTION
Shelter Autumn / Winter Transformer urban wear collection is inspired by contemporary Finnish architecture in combination with futuristic cyberpunk inspiration. Inspiration for fabric experiments and it's structures used in current collection came from facade of buildings in Helsinki city center.
CONCEPT
The goal of the project was to create a transformer collection with the main focus on outerwear. The concept of transformer clothing creates functional urban wear collection which is easy to modify according to consumer needs.
THE JACKET
Collars and pockets provide maximum protection during the rainy and windy weather as well as provides maximum comfort. Magnetic holders widely used in the collection provides easy attachment/ detachment of hoods and collars, zippers used inside of the clothing provides a strong connection of heavy jacket parts.
MY ROLE
Concept, patterns, fabric design and actual sewing of the jacket are done by me.

ABOUT
The idea was to develop adaptable transformer collection, which contains from different detachable blocks creating additional functionality. Concept inspiration, moodboard, material experimentation and sketches for Shelter cyberpunk inspired collection are presented in the catalog below.
